Easyfairs venues in Sweden are now SUSA-certified

Organising events at Kistamässan and Malmömässan now means working within a sustainability framework that shapes every part of the visitor and exhibitor experience.

Thanks to the venues’ SUSA certification, every event benefits from shared environmental and social initiatives that minimise climate impact and maximise satisfaction.
Since early 2025, both venues have run on 100% carbonfree energy, with halls powered by green electricity and LED lighting. Visitors can travel more sustainably via electric shuttle buses, cycle paths and direct rail connections.

Inside, sustainability is visible and practical: food is sourced locally where possible, prioritising responsible agriculture and plant-forward menus, and excludes red meat. Smart menu design and portion control reduces food waste, with any surplus collected by charities.

Reusable carpet tiles, water refill stations, eco-friendly signage and robust waste sorting help keep materials in circulation and cut single-use items.

Our venue teams in Belgium and Netherlands also recognise the urgency of addressing climate change and strive to reduce carbon impact.
They work hand in hand with Easyfairs events teams (at our own events) and guest organisers (at hosted events) to achieve this.
