Easyfairs supports inclusivity and accessibility through collaboration with SMOG

At Easyfairs, we’re known for offering our state-of-the-art exhibition halls and venues to help clients create unforgettable events. But our commitment to making a difference goes beyond large-scale spaces. This time, we opened the doors to our smallest room — our recording studio at Easyfairs headquarters in Brussels. Normally reserved for internal use, we were delighted to make an exception.

Our studio is typically used to produce e-learning modules for The Academy Online, our platform for continuous team development. However, when we learned about the inspiring mission of SMOG, we saw an opportunity to use this space in support of a cause that truly reflects our values.

Easyfairs x SMOG: a shared mission

SMOG is an initiative designed to help individuals with communication impairments express themselves more easily.This includes individuals with conditions such as Down syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Angelman syndrome, and others. By providing a visual and physical way to communicate, SMOG empowers individuals to connect with the world around them, breaking down barriers and fostering understanding.

When we learned that SMOG needed support to expand their video library and develop their app, we were eager to help. At Easyfairs, we believe in giving back to society whenever we can. That’s why we offered SMOG access to our recording studio, enabling them to create new video content that demonstrates their gestures. Additionally, our team provided video editing support to ensure the materials were polished and ready for use.

We were delighted to welcome SMOG to our studio and play a small role in helping them grow their library of resources. Their work has a profound impact on individuals who face communication barriers, and we are proud to have supported their efforts.
