Saving lives with Easyfairs Donates Blood
In 2025, our DACH-IT team – covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy – turned a simple idea into a powerful sustainability initiative: Easyfairs Donates Blood. During three days, colleagues across Germany, Switzerland and Italy were encouraged to donate blood during working hours, with the time fully recognised as working time.
Colleagues in Basel, Bielefeld, Milan, Munich and Stuttgart visited local donation centres and hospitals, turning ordinary weekdays into acts of solidarity with patients needing transfusions.
Every donation can help up to three people, and the initiative also raised awareness about the importance of blood donation, encouraged colleagues to consider their own health and created a shared sense of pride and purpose among our DACH-IT team members. Easyfairs Donates Blood shows how a voluntary, low-barrier initiative can bring our sustainability strategy to life by turning individual goodwill into a collective, life-saving contribution.
