Easyfairs and QUiCKFairs join forces to form powerful partnership

This strategic acquisition adds two key events, namely Coiltech in Italy and Coiltech in Germany to the Easyfairs portfolio, serving niche, industrial B2B communities. 

Munich, Milan – October 19, 2023: The internationally active event organiser Easyfairs and Milan-based exhibition organiser QUiCKFairs proudly announce their partnership. Through the collaboration, Easyfairs is augmenting its portfolio with Coiltech, the internationally acclaimed coil winding trade fair, while reinforcing its position in Italy and Germany. 

QUiCKFairs organises two annual events, Coiltech Italia and Coiltech Deutschland, both specialising in materials and machinery for the design, manufacture, maintenance and repair of electric motors, generators, transformers, and windings. Since its inception in 2010, Coiltech has evolved into the world’s leading brand in its field. In 2023, the events united 473 exhibitors from 31 nations and 5.314 visitors from 60 countries in Augsburg, Germany and Pordenone, Italy, both located in the respective heartlands of the industries.

Founded in 2009, QUiCKFairs has pioneered an independent, innovative, and standard-setting trade fair format that structurally reduces the effort required for exhibitors and that is widely recognised for providing a distinctly improved trade fair experience to all participants versus traditional fairs. The existing, dedicated event team will continue to be responsible for future editions of both Coiltech Italia and Coiltech Deutschland. Sebastian Kuester, the founder and current Managing Partner of QUiCKFairs, will take on the role of CEO of the company as part of this partnership and will remain connected to it through an investment in Easyfairs.

About QUiCKFairs

QUiCKFairs is a Milan-based trade fair organiser that commenced its operations in 2010. Since 2015, the company has been focused on staging Coiltech, a specialised trade fair that brings manufacturers of electric motors, generators, transformers, and other inductive components with their suppliers under one roof.

About 50% of the exhibitors and almost 40% of the visitors at Coiltech are of international origin. Only a few other industry trade fairs in Germany and Italy achieve such a high percentage of international participation.
