  • Yokogawa to Release the Sushi Sensor, an OpreX Brand Wireless Solution for the Industrial IoT, in Markets other than Japan

    Yokogawa Electric Corporation has announced that it will release the Sushi Sensor, an OpreXTM brand wireless solution, in markets other than Japan, starting with Europe (shipping in March 2019). Already available in Japan, the Sushi Sensor is a compact wireless device with integrated sensing and communication functions that is intended for use in the monitoring of plant equipment vibration and surface temperature. Optimised for industrial IoT (IIoT) applications, the Sushi Sensor enables the online monitoring of equipment operating conditions, which helps to improve equipment maintenance and prevent failures by detecting signs of abnormalities at an early stage.

  • Product Manager Liquid Analyzers (Analytical)

    Responsible for setting out, drawing-up and co-executing the business strategy of the liquid analyzers and sensors
    portfolio. All in close collaboration with the Business Unit Management;
    • Based on the account plan pro-actively visit (potential) customers and/or suppliers and contribute to increase
    market share and achieve early involvement in the sales process. Offer our customers and OPCO's premium
    technical and sales support by use of product/solution application & hands-on training and value selling
    presentations;
    • Act as intermediate between our customers and product development in Japan;
    • Act as an expert in product and application knowledge;
    • Define, create, maintain and distribute sales tools, e.g. demo devices and promotion material;
    • Collect and compose application notes;
    • Manage product and solution releases;
    • Collect sales & marketing information and conduct market-and competitors research regarding liquid analyzers and
    sensors.

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and strong affinity with process analytics;
    • Knowledge of and sales experience in Industrial Automation/Process control;
    • Preferably marketing education (NIMA A/B) / understanding of business to business marketing;
    • Proven experience in supporting customers/OPCO's in answering technical, application and commercial questions
    on the products and/or solutions;

  • Technology Manager

    In the arena of the latest technology it comes down to building relationships with taught leaders, to understand where
    technology trends are headed. In addition, it is necessary to determine relevant standards which may have disruptive impact
    on the industry and our business.

    When you think you’ve got it sorted, things change, and therefore you must stay in active contact with the stakeholders in
    the industry that drive trends in order to determine and be assured the impact is understood by Yokogawa Global technology
    teams around the world. The sales organization will demand your presence to represent our vision of technology to
    customers and you will see that your ability to showcase our technological leadership in the market will make a difference.
    For this role we are looking for someone that combines different trades, but most importantly a person who is open to
    change and is driven to understand what our customers want, what they can afford, and what will make us even more
    successful in the future as a Technology Leader in our market.

    • Knowledge of instrumentation, Distributed Control Systems and integration of wireless;
    • A Bachelor’s Degree with more than five years relevant experience Account Management or Technology;

  • Product Manager DTSX and Sushi sensor (NetSol/Edge Solutions)

    The product manager will be responsible for setting out, drawing-up and co-executing the business strategy of two product/solution families; the DTSX Distributed Temperature Sensing Solution and the just released IIoT “sushi” vibration sensor including the required IIoT infrastructure.

    You are required to pro-actively visit potential customers and/or suppliers to increase market share and achieve early involvement in the sales process based on an actual account plan. Premium technical and sales support is required for our customers and OPCO’s (Operating Companies) by doing product/solution application & hands-on training and value selling presentations.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and strong affinity with IT related technology.
    • In-depth knowledge of and sales experience in Industrial Automation/Process control/IIoT.
    • Preferably marketing education (NIMA A/B) / understanding of business to business marketing.
    • Proven experience in supporting customers/OPCO’s in answering technical, application and commercial questions on the products and/or solutions.
