3D printing

Scheuss & Partner will present at booth F22 the newest 3D printing technology.

Stratasys Objet24

The Objet24 is the entry-level system for your office that prints true-to-life models with small, moving parts, thin walls and smooth surfaces. Thanks to the PolyJet 3D printing technology, the Objet24 allows printing layers of 28μm and has a construction platform of 240 x 200 x 150mm. The Objet24 is ideal for designers and designers who need high-precision models for optical inspection, pass- and assembly tests, or functional applications. The Objet24 uses solid, white, opaque material, which can be varnished, drilled, machined or used for vacuum deformation.

Formlabs Form 2 3D printer

The Form 2 is the most modern desktop SLA 3D printer on the market. In the heart of the machine is a 250 mW strong laser beam, which is controlled by specially developed galvanometers. With a print volume of 145x145x175mm, the Form 2 3D printer delivers large printing models with incredible detail in layer thicknesses of 25-100 μm. In addition to standard synthetic resins, Formlabs offers technical materials for functional prototyping. These synthetic resins simulate a wide range of injection molding plastics such as ABS & PP.

MakerBot Replicator +

MakerBot, the Stratasys subsidiary, provides a powerful and reliable FDM 3D printer with the MakerBot Replicator+ which contains Stratasys technology. Even the software that processes native CAD files is hardly distinguishable from the Stratasys software for FDM production systems. The Replicator+ prints with PLA or Tough PLA (simulated ABS). This is particularly suitable for cost-effective, functional prototyping. The machine is also an interesting, low-cost entry-level model since acquired know-how can be transmitted directly to larger Stratasys machines.
