The Drinks Industry

Where: The Industry Forum Stage
When: 27th February - 10:30 to 12:00

Worth an estimated £1.3bn in 2015 (Smithers Pira), the drinks packaging market is the second largest consumer packaging market in the UK. It is dominated by rigid plastic due to its weight and durability, however, metal cans, liquid cartons and glass bottles (particularly in the alcoholic drinks market) play a large part.

In the Drinks Forum, in partnership with The Drinks Report this year, Diageo will be looking at packaging as an advertising medium, Carlsberg will talk sustainability, Garcon Wines will reveal their solution for wine in the e-commerce age and we will have a case study from Arctic Gin and MestaBoard.
