Artexis Easyfairs unveils new name, strategy and corporate identity


Artexis Easyfairs has formally merged into a single organisation with a common corporate identity and mission, “Visit the future”. Its joint vision is “to serve communities, to be at the forefront of marketing and technology and to develop talent and share best practices within the Group”.

The mission, strategy and new identity are outlined in detail in the Artexis Easyfairs 2013-14 Activity Report, which is published today.

Eric Everard, Founder and Head of Artexis Easyfairs, comments, “These are very exciting times for the meetings and events industry and our new corporate strategy enables us to play a leading role in its evolution, building on the many synergies across our business.”

The new Group is named Artexis Easyfairs. It has two business divisions operating under distinct brand names:

Easyfairs: As an events organiser, giving communities a vision of their future, providing the tools and knowledge needed to face this future with confidence and offering a positive and potentially life-changing experience.

Artexis: As a venues owner and manager, providing customised and innovative services to ensure the success of the events the company hosts, while boosting and making a big impact on municipal, local and regional economies.

“With the recent announcement of our Artexis-SMG joint venture, we look forward to making an even bigger impact on economies through excellence in the management of publicly and privately owned exhibition halls and convention centres,” says Everard. 

Multi-format events and venues

Easyfairs retains its aim to make exhibiting easy for all participants but through a wider range of multi-format events. These include, but are not limited to, the “all-in format” whereby Easyfairs provides space, stand building, services and promotional resources, a space-rental-only exhibition format, the conference and exhibition (confex) format, together with business summits.

Artexis will further develop multi-format venues that can welcome all kinds of events, from exhibitions and conferences to concerts and sporting fixtures.

Artexis Easyfairs also today publishes its 2013-14 Activity Report. This reviews the company’s successes over the past two years and sets out objectives for the future.

“Artexis Easyfairs is a family business – an important quality as this enables us to pursue our long-term vision,” says Everard. “We reinvest 80% of our profits into future projects and activities.” In 2013-14 we strengthened our financial credentials. The Group’s equity value increased by 43%, while its net debt-to-equity ratio fell from 53% to 16%.
