  • High-performance check valves for all applications

High-performance check valves from WEH are an essential component everywhere media need to be transported by pipeline in one direction only. In such applications, finding the right standard solution can often pose a real challenge.

One of the strengths of WEH is precisely its ability to deal with applications for which no standard valve is available. WEH’s long years of experience allows us to help you find the solution that works for even the most challenging and difficult applications. Over the years we have developed a myriad of customised solutions in close collaboration with our customers.

A couple of examples of our solutions:
    • Cartridge check valves for fuel infeed into gas turbines
    • Screw-in valves for integration into pumps and compressors
    • Mini check valves for applications in the field of water treatment

WEH® Check valves are used in a wide variety of sectors. They are particularly important in general mechanical engineering involving CNC and plant manufacturing and in microwave systems, but are also used by pump and compressor manufacturers and in
water treatment plants. Aside from these areas, WEH® Check valves are also used in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries, medical technology (including autoclaves) and even in the automotive sector (in diesel exhaust fluid applications - AdBlue).

Made of high-quality stainless steel, WEH® Check valves are unique in their high level of compatibility with media, resistance to corrosion and long service life. For this reason, they can be used with the widest possible range of media, in both liquid and gaseous form, including industrial gases, oxygen, hydrogen and natural gas, but also for rare specialist mixes of media and aggressively corrosive substances (e.g. acids, solvents and the widest possible variety of chemicals).

Aside from check valves with threaded connections, there are also versions with double ferrule fittings, screw-in threads, flanges, hose nozzle, pipe sockets or customised cartridge check valves. The widest possible range of connection combinations can be
manufactured in whatever quantities are required.

Such connections can deal with operating pressures of up to 1000 bar and cracking pressures from 0.01 bar and temperatures from
    -40 °C to +300 °C with ease.

Naturally, WEH also provides a broad range of high-performance check valves as standard. WEH® TVR2 High-performance check valves are available as standard with the widest possible combination of port configurations. Their unique feature is their extremely leak
tight seal even at very high flow rates as well as their extremely silent operation. These features make them ideal for use in applications involving fluid and gaseous media. In addition, check valves in steel and brass are also available in our range.

  • WEH® High-pressure valves - Compact. Multifunctional. High-performance

Technical gases are used in almost every sector of the economy and in a great many industrial processes. Aside from their application in filling and mixing gases, gas valves are used in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, the chemical industry, food technology
    and in many other areas.

To be able to manufacture or use gases in high-quality processes one needs a reliable and high-performance technical processing plant that also satisfies the most demanding requirements in terms of economic efficiency.

Up until recently such gas plants mostly had to use valves with large pneumatic actuators to manage gas flows. Such valves have been in use for decades now, but due to their often very large size tend to take up a great deal of space in the plant layout. Aside from that,
to build complex gas processing plants one generally needs a large number of system components, such as valves, for example, which can increase the price of such a plant substantially.

WEH has developed a range of innovative high-pressure linear valves, capable of up to three functions in a single valve, for precisely this sort of application. Such multifunctional valves combine a shut-off valve together with other functions like automatic venting, check valve and block & bleed functionality.

Thanks to these functionalities, it is now possible to build plants for evacuating, filling and regulating gaseous media of all sorts extremely economically. On top of that, compact linear valves can be integrated into existing systems simply and easily. It is also possible
to integrate a variety of types of valves in the same construction space without having to make any modifications to the system piping.
As a result, the functioning of existing plants can be adjusted even after initial installation according to the changing needs of the customer.

Aside from their very compact and streamlined design, another big benefit is the extremely silent functioning of the WEH® TV17 High-pressure valves. These valves provide uniquely high flow values and are available either with pneumatic or manual
actuation. Their innovative design makes it easy to switch between functions even at very high pressures.

All in all, what makes the WEH® TV17 High-pressure valve a winner is the combination of its compact and lightweight design, its multifunctional capabilities and the value for money it represents.

As a specialist in the gas sector, WEH has been developing safe and reliable gas components since 1983, which are now being used by a range of well-known gas manufacturers. Aside from our uniquely effective high pressure valves, WEH’s range of products with the
‘Made in Germany’ seal also includes a wide range of modular accessories designed to precisely fit the needs of those valves, starting with vacuum pressure relief modules to protect vacuum pumps, fine and particle filters, and check valves for incorporation into
gas plants, all the way up to filling connectors for the widest possible variety of gases.
