Record breaking numbers for Lab Innovations 2019

Lab Innovations celebrated its 8th edition on 30 & 31 October 2019, trumping all records for the event. Attracting 3,860 attendees - an impressive 24% increase on the previous year - this makes it the largest Lab Innovations to date. Over 160 exhibitors displayed a diverse and innovative product offering to visitors from more sectors than ever before, emphasising the event’s place as the UK’s largest annual trade exhibition dedicated to the entire laboratory industry.

Lab Innovations 2018 confirmed as a major hit with visitors, exhibitors and speakers

Lab Innovations, the UK’s only trade show dedicated to the laboratory industry, beat all records for the show, attracting 3,113 attendees - a 10% increase on the previous year. Underlying the headline number were significant increases in visitors involved in purchasing products and services. Overall, 79% of visitors were involved in the purchasing decision, with a 43% increase in lab managers, a 53% increase in lab technicians, and an impressive 125% increase in procurement managers. In addition, the number of scientists attending increased by 49%.

Easyfairs publishes Activity Report with record results and announces rebrand

Brussels, 18 January 2018: Multinational event organiser and venue manager Easyfairs has published its 2016-17 Activity Report and, in the process, announced a rebranding. Henceforth, all of the group’s activities will come under the umbrella brand Easyfairs. Previously the group was known as Artexis Easyfairs, with the venue side of the business (in Belgium and Sweden) branded Artexis and events in all countries branded Easyfairs.

Lab Innovations continues its successful partnership with the Royal Society of Chemistry

Over the course of the two days, the exhibition will be complemented by more than 35 hours of seminars and conferences focused on current hot topics, including contributions from the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), which has a long association with Lab Innovations. This year, the RSC theatre will put the spotlight on the analysis of illicit substances – including cannabis, so-called ‘legal highs’ and counterfeit pharmaceuticals – as well as laboratory automation and in-process analysis. And, for the first time, it will also include sessions from the Royal Society of Chemistry’s careers service.
