  • Technical Sales Representative - Scotland/North East

    The role will involve daily travel throughout the Scotland and NE England region, and at times nationwide, to meet with customers and demonstrate products. Products include cold storage solutions, wireless monitoring, clean air and related laboratory equipment.
    Salary: £££ - dependent on experience + bonus/profit share
    Location: Scotland

    Job Specification/Main Duties:
    • Manage geographical area to generate leads to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Identify and acquire new customers through research and referral
    • Actively promote the whole product portfolio and identify new prospects
    • Qualify prospects and manage opportunity pipeline/sales process to meet sales targets
    • Negotiate and close opportunities
    • Organise and perform equipment demonstrations as required
    • Customer account management
    • Distributor and channel sales management
    • Maintain CRM database (SalesForce)
    • Communicate prospects, forecast, activities and territory plans regularly to Management Team
    • Understand complete product portfolio and maintain excellent product knowledge to educate customers and suppliers
    • Work alongside Marketing Team and Product Managers to coordinate sales efforts with marketing programmes to raise awareness and generate sales
    • Organise and run local exhibitions and represent the company at national exhibitions and conferences
