SyMas (SOLIDS), Poland’s Trade Show for Powder & Bulk Solids Technologies - 6th edition to take place in brand new venue: Expo Kraków
Preparations are already fully underway for the next edition of the only Polish trade show for the powder and bulk solids industry, SyMas 2014 (SOLIDS). The upcoming show will take place on 29-30 October 2014 in a stunning new venue, the ultra-modern, high-tech exhibition and convention centre, Expo Kraków. SyMas is one of the Solids European Series shows – Europe’s largest series of expert trade shows focused on powder and bulk solids technologies.
The previous edition of SyMas in Kraków drew nearly 120 exhibitors from Poland and abroad. Participation by firms from Denmark, Italy, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Belgium, Finland, United States, Netherlands, Sweden and Great Britain highlight the international scope of the event.
SyMas is designed for professionals from almost any sector – food & beverage, chemicals, building materials, agriculture or mining, and many others – who need to process, handle, and/or store bulk goods or powders. The essence of the show is not only the diversity of business challenges being solved but also the level of the visitors: experts who know exactly what they’re looking for and have clear objectives. Exhibitor testimonials demonstrate the high standard at the show:
“To our surprise the visitors were all professionals who knew what they needed: there were no ‘collectors’ or ‘onlookers’, just competent guests. I’m pleased with our participation in this show.”
M.Eng. Wojciech Halkiewicz, Firma Inżyniersko – Handlowa ARIA-C, Technika Sprężonego Powietrza.
“The show organisers deserve a word of appreciation for this splendidly prepared and conducted trade fair, which was preceded by an effective publicity campaign. Our customers’ interest in the show was quite high, and that’s invaluable for any business.”
Robert Ryt, Kaeser Kompressoren
As every year, SyMas 2014 will be co-located with Poland’s top show for industrial maintenance and asset management, MAINTENANCE 2014.
SyMas is not just an exhibition of the most advanced technologies, products and services; it also features a comprehensive programme of accompanying events. This field urgently depends on knowledge, so we are currently developing the new schedule of learnShops seminars, where top industry experts will share their expertise and experiences with the interested public. And the next edition of Modern Technologies in Bulk Solids Industry, a conference exclusively for solids professionals, will also take place during the show. SOLIDS Basel 2013 again met with great interest!
More visitors, satisfied exhibitors: On 14 November, SOLIDS Basel 2013, Switzerland’s third edition of the European trade show series for solids technology, SES, concluded on an upbeat. “SOLIDS Basel has become a vital meeting place for industry professionals and established itself as a unique, cross-border business platform for the solids market in the tri-national region,” says Event Director Daniel Eisele. In total, around 1,000 trade visitors came to learn about the newest developments, trends and innovative solutions in solids technologies for process industry. SOLIDS Basel 2013 also highlighted a critical topic in its exclusive lecture series on the role of explosion protection in solids technology and through its guided visitor tours of the exhibition.
Event Director Daniel Eisele presents a thoroughly positive picture of the results: “This year’s trade show went really well: with approximately 1,000 visitors, we’ve definitely grown in comparison to previous editions of SOLIDS Basel. On both show days, we had a good, steady stream of attendees, and a lot of interest was shown at the 83 exhibitors’ stands. But what pleased me most was how happy the exhibitors were with the format: they reported making many high-value business contacts – which in some cases had already led to concrete orders.”
The positive feedback was also evident in pre-bookings for the next edition of SOLIDS Basel, which takes place in 2015. “We received 30 reservations and several committed bookings for 2015, all before the 2013 event had closed its doors: that’s a clear sign that the show’s on the right track,” remarks Eisele. He promises that the trade fair will be developed further to meet the future needs of the market: “We’re not planning to rest on our laurels!” Already in the works for SOLIDS Basel 2015 are attractive new forums and a high-impact professional conference featuring exclusive presentations; “even more content for an even more diverse, high-calibre offering to appeal to both existing and new target groups,” explains Eisele.
