Requirements for documentation may appear burdensome, but well-designed routines and risk assessment and continuous monitoring systems can contribute to higher process, personal and operational safety. Interpretations, tips and practical solutions are presented.

Smart textiles is a sweater and a glove with integrated sensors, which enable objective evaluation and analyzation of work techniques. The textiles are connected and via a mobile they provide both positive and negative feedback on the user's behavior.
The clothes are being developed by Snickers Workwear, Fraunhofer Chalmers, KTH, Högskolan i Skövde, Högskolan of Borås, Scania, Volvo Cars, Volvo Trucks, Feelgood and others.
IPS IMMA is an ergonomic simulation program which enables you to evaluate and visualize interaction between people, production and production systems in the early stages of development. IPS IMMA is a tool developed by Fraunhofer Chalmers Center and Högskolan i Skövde together with the Swedish automotive industry.
