Debus

Tim Debus, President & CEO, RPA

Tim Debus promotes reusable transport packaging systems to create high-performing, efficient, waste-free and intelligent supply chains.  He advances the common business interests of members of the trade association for the reusable packaging industry.

Tim’s experience involves bringing to market new technologies and leading industry initiatives in the production and supply of agricultural commodities, including the development of reusable plastic containers for packaging perishable foods.  He draws from his extensive background in bananas, biotechnology and politics to provide unique perspectives for industry solutions.

Stavig

Kyle Stavig, Chair, IPANA; & CEO, Myers Container

Kyle is an entrepreneur with a history of building a collection of profitable companies in a heavy industrial, unionized environment, often while facing significant industry consolidation and competition from multi-national corporations. His experience is second to none, and currently acts as Chair to the Industrial Packaging Alliance of North America as well as CEO of Myers Container.

Rod

Rod Armstrong, Sales & Marketing Director, CHEP

Rod is an experienced business leader specializing in business development, executive leadership and large multi-unit operations. Previous to his current role at CHEP Pallecon, Rod has held directorships with United Allergy Services, DaVita, Aramark and Starbucks, where he was personally responsible for 120 stores and $80 million in annual revenues.

Rankin

Paul W. Rankin, President, RIPA

Paul has been President of the Reusable Industrial Packaging Association since 1990. RIPA represents approximately 110 companies that recondition, manufacture and distribute industrial shipping containers, or which supply materials and expertise to these firms. Member companies annually recondition about 25 million steel drums; 4-6 million plastic drums; 5-8 million fiber drums; and nearly 3 million intermediate bulk containers. Paul is actively involved in national and international legislative, standards setting and regulatory activities.

Adam

Adam Gendell, Associate Director, Sustainable Packaging Coalition

Adam is the Associate Director of GreenBlue’s flagship project, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. Adam's focus is devoted to macro trends in sustainable packaging and helping industry create leadership strategies. He has special expertise in responsible material sourcing, life cycle assessment, and solid waste management. Adam has developed and delivered training seminars for hundreds of sustainability and packaging professionals, and is a frequent speaker and writer on sustainability topics.


LJ

Lonnie Jaycox, Jaycox Consulting, LLC

Lonnie is an independent packaging engineer, consultant, and trainer in the implementation of compliance and packaging programs for a very variety of packaged products, including a focus on regulated materials –hazardous materials (dangerous goods) transport - as well as packaging materials conversion and use under a variety of regulations, including; food contact regulations and GFSI Food Safety Management Systems; packaging waste regulations; sustainability issues; and various required marking and labeling schemes.

Brandon D’Emidio, Director - Product Management & Innovation, CHEP North America

Brandon joined CHEP in 2007, and was promoted to Director of Product Management & Innovation in 2016. Over the past 10 years, he has held a variety of global roles within the organization, including positions in finance, strategy and process improvement. With a dedicated focus on increasing customer value, Brandon has contributed to five patents for shipping platforms and pallet systems. Currently, he leads a team working to improve efficiency through customer-driven, market-focused innovations; most noticeably, the introduction of reusable, standardized platforms for the CPG and retail supply chains. Before joining CHEP, Brandon served as a package quality engineer in the cosmetics industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging from Michigan State University.
