15.15 - 16.00: Collaborative Workcell 4.0

Collaborative robots or cobots are emerging in assembly. Collaborative work cells, where cobots and humans cooperate, are identified as one of the most important technological drivers related to Industry 4.0.

Researchers of Flanders Make and imec investigate how cobots and humans can cooperate in an effective way, while limiting the load on the human operator. Examples of Audi Brussels and the MAKE LAB will illustrate the importance of the project “proeftuin Collaborative Work Cell 4.0”.

Speakers: An Jacobs | imec ; Anje Van Vlierberghe | Flanders Make
