Lagerblad Foods´ story is based on two chef’s shared dream to cook delicious home made food on a bigger scale. The company is now a diversified food company that manufactures a wide range of high-class products.
Fresh steaks, meatballs, pasties and meaty sausages are made with the same love and care as in a home kitchen; made of natural ingredients and following classic recipes – which reflects in the final product.
Preservation by freezing helps us to avoid a whole bunch of preservatives. Professional kitchens have a lot to gain by switching fresh products to frozen. First of all, it means that they can keep less staff in the kitchen and more in customer service, and partly it means significantly less food waste. Frozen products also provide flexibility through their long shelf life – you always have great fresh products available in the freezer.
Our production is modern and has many intelligent technical solutions, thus contributing to a very high level of product safety. Our recipes however are classic and traditional and our products taste and feel homemade. We have a FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certifikation and work hard on maintaining a high standard of safety in our facilities.
