    The RAVAS-1100 is the cost-conscious solution for checking weights a few times a day, e.g. at goods reception or when filling out transport documents. Weights are shown in 1kg steps. The RAVAS-1100 is also available with the options thermal printer and multirange display graduation: 0.5/1.0 kg.

    Attractive price
    Thanks to the robust chassis and the power supply by four standard AA-batteries, this pallet truck scale combines an attractive price level with a reasonable accuracy. The display is able to show both gross and net weights. For checking incoming goods, avoiding overloads and determining shipping weights.

    Introducing the RCS PLUS RAVAS sets the new standard for oil pressure weighing on forklift trucks in the market. The RCS PLUS is an accurate hydraulic scale, very user friendly and fitted with modern technology for Bluetooth and WiFi communication. The successor of the RCS PLUS system, launched in 2007, has a new indicator based on the iForks indicator. Due to this the user friendliness of the new system strongly improved and the system now has a number of new functions.

    Accurate weighing on forklifts
    The RCS PLUS weighs by measuring the pressure in the hydraulic circuit of the forklift truck. This pressure is measured with a temperature compensated sensor in the valve block. During a controlled descent of the load on the forks, the RCS PLUS measures the oil pressure in the mast at a high frequency. The indicator software turns these measurements into an accurate weight indication of the load of the forks. The maximum tolerance is 0.2% of the weighing capacity. The RCS PLUS has a standard capacity up to 10 Ton and is optionally available up for weighing up to 30 Ton.

    • An excellent tool for weight checks on a forklift truck;
    • Easy to install on any forklift truck, maintenance friendly, low cost of ownership and calibrated within several minutes;
    • Suited for use in combination with attachments.

    New indicator:
    • The dedicated key for weighing increases the user friendliness and correct operation of the weighing system;
    • Countdown function during weighing;
    • Connectivity: via RS232, printer, Bluetooth or WiFi;
    • Display lighting for perfect readability.

    Weighing system:
    • Gross, net, tare, accumulate, code-entry and date/time registration;
    • Kg and Lb readout;
    • Optional available: heavy duty valve block for 10-30 Ton weighing capacity. The heavy duty valve block is standard supplied with an integrated oil filter.

  • RCS: Hydraulic load indication for forklift trucks

    RAVAS supplies a complete range of truck scales for mounting on forklift trucks. For simple check weighing, where a high accuracy is not required, there is the RCS hydraulic load indication system.

    Simple check weighing
    An oil pressure sensor is installed onto the hydraulic circuit of the forklift by means of a T-coupling. The indicator in the cabin translates the measurement into a weight indication of the load on the forks. The RCS has a limited accuracy, with a possible error of maximum 2% of the lifting capacity of the truck. The system is meant for simple check weighing, such as the checking for incoming goods, and for avoiding the overloading of lorries, warehouse racking and the forklift truck itself.

  • iForks boost revenues on air cargo handling

    April 2013

    Scale forks allow identifying, weighing and registering of air cargo, directly on the forklift truck.

    iForks makes weighing of air cargo pallets fast and easy. While handling the pallet on the forklift, the scale forks measure the weight of the pallet and add the weight information to the AirWay Bill data set. iForks allow an air cargo handler to check the real weight of every pallet against the declared weight on the Air Waybill: weight differences are corrected on the Air Waybill, making sure that correct weights are invoiced. Increased revenues usually provide 100% ROI on iForks within months.

    iForks are certified legal for trade, therefore the measured weight can be used for invoicing. iForks allow the check weighing of every air cargo pallet directly on the forklift truck, without loss of time. iForks is a completely wireless scale system for use on forklift trucks and can be installed on any forklift in a matter of minutes.

    How does it work?
    Every pallet handled on a forklift is automatically weighed by the scale forks, the weight shown on the iForks display in the cabin. The pallet is identified, e.g. by bar code scan, linking it to an Air Waybill data set. The pallet weight is transferred from the scale display to the WMS, where the weight on the Air Waybill is corrected if necessary. Data transfer from scale to WMS can be via cable if there is a data terminal on the truck, or via wireless to an existing WLAN network. Essential is that every pallet can be checked for weight, right on the forklift truck, during handling, without having to drive back and forth to a floor scale. That makes iForks extremely suitable for use during the rush hours that are such a defining aspect of air cargo handling.

    Certified legal for trade
    iForks are certified legal for trade, class OIML III, certificate number T2735. This certification allows invoicing by the weight measured on iForks: it guarantees the accuracy of the scale, independent of the position of the load on the forks, and independent of temperature changes or electromagnetic fields.

    What is iForks?
    iForks is the first completely wireless set of scale forks for use on forklift trucks, reach trucks and narrow aisle trucks. Since all scale components are completely integrated in the forks, iForks has no external cabling whatsoever. iForks can be installed on any forklift in a few minutes: plug & weigh! From then on any load lifted is instantly weighed.

    Low cost of ownership
    The iForks weight display in the cabin shows the weight of the pallet load on the forks. It provides a range of scale functions: gross/net weighing, total weight per shipment, ID code entry, etc. The display can transfer weight data to an integrated printer, a truck terminal, or direct to a WMS or ERP system, via wireless. iForks uses Digital Calibration Technology: over the keypad of the display the scale can be calibrated fast and easy. This makes the scale very maintenance friendly and provides low cost of ownership.
