Brigitte Evrard

Brigitte Evrard founded her packaging design agency in 1976.

She joined Carré Noir from 1994 to 1998, acting as a creative director, leading the projects from a strategic and a creative perspective.

She joined the international group Desgrippes Gobé in 1998, today BrandImage-Anthem Design.

With her team she won more than 50 awards.

Since the end of 2006, after leaving Desgrippes Gobé, she decided to devote herself to the worldwide promotion of a communication tool to which she has given her life: packaging design.

With her husband Jean Jacques Evrard, she founded the Pentawards, today the most respected worldwide packaging-design competition, which shows that she considers packaging as one of the foremost communication tools in global business.

Sam O'Donahue

Owner and Creative Director of Established - New York, NY

Sam O'Donahue specializes in packaging, identity design and art direction for premium brands in beauty and fashion.

He gained his degree in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins and has spent the last 20 years in the world of luxury design with a client list that includes Marc Jacobs, Rihanna, Calvin Klein, H&M, DKNY, LVMH, Svedka, Evian, Estee Lauder, Black Fleece, Sephora, and MCM.

The winner of 30 international design awards including Gold Clio, Graphite D&AD and the prestigious 2015 Diamond Pentaward.

He lectures regularly at Columbia Business school and has been on the jury of the Dieline awards and the D&AD awards.

Sam runs his studio with a policy of creating great design, whilst having a lot of fun. He lives in New York City with his wife and three boys.

Yoji Minakuchi

Head of Design Department of Suntory, Tokyo 

Born in 1965 - Aries in the Western horoscope, Snake in the Chinese horoscope.

He graduated from Kushu Institute of Design and Joined Suntory as a graphic designer in 1989.

One of his characteristics is creating not only outstanding packages but also clear and  astonishing concepts by using  various metaphors.

Mark Budden

Managing Director, Design Bridge Asia, Singapore

Mark joined Design Bridge in 1992 as a Designer and in true DB fashion worked his was up to become MD of the Singapore office which he opened in 2003. He studied Silversmithing and Jewellery and believes passionately in developing the future of the design industry in Singapore through providing learning opportunities and long term career progression. Design Bridge in Asia has grown to become the largest and one of the most respected design agencies in the region working across multiple touchpoints for famous brands.

Laurent Hainaut

President and founder of forceMAJEURE, formerly know as Raison Pure NYC.

French born Laurent Hainaut is an Industrial Designer by training.

Laurent is the founder of forceMAJEURE, an International Design House founded in New York in 1998, with homes in New York City and in Paris.
Laurent has over 29 years of experience in Visual strategy, Brand Identity, Product Design, Packaging Design, Retail Environments & Experiences, Consumer Product Innovation and Global Design Management.

His knowledge of international markets and design has helped to make forceMAJEURE, formerly know as Raison Pure NYC, a leader in Global Design.
His creative vision and strategic counsel have been valued by clients across a broad range of industries, including Unilever, Diageo, Pepsico, Danone Waters, L’Oreal, Revlon and many others.

José Antonio Rojano Lopez

Head Design & Communication Manager at El Corte Inglés, Madrid

Qualified with a BFA Industrial Design and a Master Advance in Product Design from IED.          

In 2012, attended an Executive Master in Marketing Management & Sales at IE Business School, graduating as top 3 and obtaining “Beta Gamma Sigma” academic award.

His professional career started with Imaginarium®, where he developed and industrialized his first product design. Worked at Sony Spain, where he developed several projects at the Solutions Department for marketing and engineering teams.

In 2007 starts his stage in El Corte Inglés as designer at the Packaging Design team for the group's own brand portfolio. Since 2011 He is in charge of this department with a 10 people team. His main tasks are focused on creative direction, account and project management, talent recruitment, implementation/improvement of design and co-creation processes, innovation and strategy for all the own brand portfolio.

Clem Halpin

Creative Director at Turner Duckworth, London

Throughout his career Clem has worked on some of the worlds most iconic brands, such as Burger King, Toblerone, and The Glenlivet, as well as many entrepreneurial brands such as Tick Tock Teas and Kettle Crisps. Clem has won many of the world’s top brand identity and packaging design awards including D&AD, Clio and Pentawards. Previously he has been a judge for D&AD, both the professional and student awards as well as the Drum Design awards.

François Takounseun

Co-Founder, Global Design Director, Partisan du Sens, Paris

Graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Design Industriel, Paris in 1994.

Founder of Partisan du Sens with Gérald Galdini in 2003,  global design agency in Paris.

More than 20 years experience in the luxury sector and deeply convinced that Design is not simply about creation, it is a philosophy.

Instilling desire, transforming the material and subtly stimulating innovation through the fostering of an intensely-felt brand loyalty.

Jacob Bergström

Brand & Creative Director, Silver, Stockholm

Graduated from Grafiskt Utbildningscenter,and Berghs SOC, in Graphic Communication, Marketing communication, and Strategic marketing.

Started his carreer at SDR Reklambyrå in 1992, and is since 2010 Brand & Creative Director at Silver, working for clients such as ICA, Cervera, Orkla Foods, Mondelez, Actavis, OBH Nordica.

Roy White

Founder and Creative partner of Subplot Canada

Roy knew he wanted to be a designer since high school.

Born in London, Roy cut his teeth early at renowned London design firms, The Partners and Carol Dempsey and Thirkell, and shortly founded his own design firm, The Third Man, working with the likes of Virgin Records and the Royal Opera House 

Moving to Australia in the early 1990's, Roy was involved in major Olympic-related branding projects, most notably, the Olympic Village and Olympic Stadium identities.

In 1998 he moved to Canada.

Since forming Subplot in 2003 Roy as helped the agency to grow to become one of Canada’s most respected packaging design consultancies.

Roy's work has been recognized internationally in design competitions and publications across 3 continents, including Creative Review, AR100, Graphic Designers of Canada, Graphis, HOW, Graphics World, the Australian Designers Association, Lotus Awards, New York Festivals, Applied Arts, Coupe Awards and Pentawards

Yuan Zonglei

Started his career at Jahwa in 1992, in charge of various design projects, essentially for

Packaging, display design and interior design.

From August 2015, He is working at Shanghai Inoherb comestics Co., Ltd.

Winner of numerous industry awards in packaging design.    


Jeremy Lindley

Global Design Director, Diageo. London

Jeremy is responsible for Design across Diageo’s current brands and new products worldwide, including Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, J&B, Windsor, Buchanan's and Bushmills whiskies, Smirnoff, Ciroc and Ketel One vodkas, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Guinness.

He is passionate about the way Design can connect on an emotional level with consumers and about consistently delivering the highest standards of ideas and execution. 

Prior to joining Diageo Jeremy was Head of Design for Tesco Stores Ltd. His early career was spent working as a Design Consultant and University Lecturer. 

Jeremy graduated with an Honours Degree in Design and has a Master of Arts Degree by research.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts and is active in a number of Design Industry bodies.
