REA JET develops and manufactures premium industrial coding and marking systems for contact-free industrial marking. The portfolio includes ink jet printers, laser and spray mark systems, labeling solutions, as well as inks and consumables. The practically orientated products are designed for use in all branches and have proven worldwide across all industries and business segments.

REA VERIFIER is a manufacturer of Code Verification Systems for quality control of DataMatrix- and Barcodes. The goal is to optimize processes by high degree of first reading rates within automated identification systems.

REA JET and REA VERIFIER are both divisions of REA Elektronik GmbH based in Muehltal, near Frankfurt am Main. REA Card, another REA division, develops and markets cashless payment systems. REA Elektronik was founded in 1982, is owner-operated and employs a staff of 400 (2018). All REA JET and REA VERIFIER products are 100 percent made in Germany.

    No other coding and marking technology has made a greater contribution to consumer safety and information in our everyday lives than continuous inkjet technology (CIJ), as can be clearly seen in the areas of foodstuffs and product packaging alone. With the new SC 2.0, one- to eight-line texts, data, barcodes, Data Matrix codes and logos are printed in a contactfree process – in high resolution, at fast speeds and with a very short drying time. This process is used in virtually all branches of industry for marking flat surfaces such as foil, laminate, plastic or metal.

    Code Verification Systems for 1D and 2D codes

    With the REA VERIFIER Systems, the optimal readability and the correct layout of barcodes, data matrix codes, stacked or even combined optical codes can be tested. Either according to the international norms or on the basis of user-specific requirements.

    Additionally, even content information (expiration dates, batch numbers, dates for traceability and quality control, data for serialization) and the compliance with the necessary data structure in the codes can be tested.

    In spite of the complex subject matter of standardized and worldwide uniform testing methods, the use and evaluation of the REA VERIFIER is very simple.
