Product news

  • Crosswise bundling and at the same time communicating tracking info on the right location each time?

Bandall bundling machines can be adjusted in such a way that boxes, dishes or trays can be easily bundled crosswise (or with a single band) while at the same time tracking info, for example, is always placed on the right location in relation to the product. This is ideal in the order picking process.

The Bandall machine with printer is adjusted in such a way that the first banding does not get a print, while the second (crosswise) banding does. Always on the right place. This bundling application is excellent for the pharmaceutical industry, for instance, where they use a lot of small boxes. But the packaging concept is just as attractive and efficient when dealing with bundles of trays containing processed meat, fish or cheese. The coded bundles considerable simplify and speed up the order picking process. Single banding is also possible of course. In that case, the same benefits apply.

The position of the print on the banding can be easily adjusted when the height of the bundles changes due to, for example, a product change or a change to less or more products. In virtually all cases, banding stacks of products is more efficient and more environmentally friendly than with similar packaging methods. The banding is wafer-thin and can easily be removed.

  • Bandall banding technology accommodates variables in skin packs perfectly!

Bandall’s banding technology is ideal for labelling and packaging skin packs with a printed band. Skin packed products such as lobster and t-bone steaks can protrude beyond the containers or trays, often resulting in irregular sizes and shapes.

Uniquely, Bandall technology can accommodate these variables ensuring consistently neat and secure bands around the skin packs. Alternatives such as linerless label methods or sleeve packing are unable to do this. And self-adhesive labelling often results in a less than attractive finish.

Showing the freshness and quality of products is very much in demand. Seafood and luxury meat and poultry products are often packed in this way. A tempting and striking, informative label, that stands out on the shelf, can all be achieved with banding.

  • New: 100% environmentally friendly banding made of paper and PE-free hotmelt glue

For years, Bandall and specialist printing firm Max Aarts have successfully provided innovative bundling and banding solutions for the entire industrial sector. Now that we use biodegradable and compostable hotmelt glue, our paper bands have become 100% environmentally friendly. The seal takes up just 1% of the paper. Furthermore, the PE-free hotmelt glue provides adhesion as strong as glue containing PE. Suitable for all types of MC and Kraft paper.

The unprinted paper bands were already FSC accredited. Thanks to the use of compostable hotmelt glue, you can now throw your used bands in the paper recycling bin without ever thinking twice!

Bandall's banding machines were already unique as they can process extremely thin strips of printed and unprinted band: as thin as 35 microns. This enables significant savings on packaging materials, resulting in substantial environmental benefits. And with the introduction of banding with PE-free hotmelt glue, we really have taken eco-friendliness to the next level!
