  • TECHNOSOFT presents the iPOS2401 Micro-Sized Motion Controller Micro motors now have the perfect motion controller to match their size

    The company TECHNOSOFT , based in Neuchâtel,Switzerland, has released the iPOS2401 MX , an intelligent drive with integrated motion controller offering an optimal solution for positioning applications where space is critical (19 x 46 x 8 mm). Due to its innovative motor control architecture, the iPOS2401 represents a universal control solution for a complete category of micro motors that usually do not require more than 1A continuous even in dynamic regimes.
    Brushed DC, brushless DC, stepper or linear motors can be controlled by the Technosoft micro-drive that supports incremental TTL encoder and digital Halls as position sensors. One drive for any motor technology brings a huge advantage in terms of reducing the stock diversity as well as the implementation time due to a unique user interface for all axes.   • TECHNOSOFT iMOT17 Intelligent Motors – Compact Designed to Maximize Power

    iMOT17 designates a family of size 42 mm (NEMA17) motors with integrated electronics from TECHNOSOFT, containing: brushless motor, encoder, servo drive and motion controller – all in one compact unit. Specifically designed for applications where space is critical,
    the iMOT17 brushless series feature 0.1 to 0.3 Nm in a package from 64 to 98 mm (connectors oriented towards the front end reduce the product length).
    Product iMOT172S, embedding a step motor with integrated electronics and encoder, completes the size 42 mm intelligent motor family.
    The iMOT17 incorporate a single-turn absolute encoder with 4096 pulses/rotation allowing a state-of-the-art closed-loop, field-oriented control providing smooth, quiet and repeatable motion for high-end positioning applications. TECHNOSOFT intelligent motors feature simple installation and reduced EMC: only power and communication signals need cable routing as the encoder and driver are
    included in the motor body, while the digital I/Os (limit switches, etc.) can be connected locally.
    Retractable connectors (XM version) or M8 and M12 round connectors (TM-CAN version) offer various IP protection degrees to suit the application needs. In both cases, either TMLCAN (Technosoft Motion Language) or CiA DS402 CANopen communication

  • PIM4806 Intelligent Plug-in Module with EtherCAT

    PIM4806 is a new member of Technosoft's family of high-performance intelligent drives with EtherCAT communication support. It is part of a new modular system that includes up to 3 plug-in modules: the PIM4806 board itself, the EtherCAT communication extension and feedback extensions.

    When the EtherCAT plug-in extension module is added, PIM4806 operates as a standard EtherCAT slave drive, with the CANopen-over-EtherCAT (CoE) protocol.

    If a feedback plug-in extension is added, the PIM4806 drive extends the list of accepted feedback devices to: SSI, BiSS or EnDAT absolute encoders, and resolvers.
