Thank you for a fantastic event. Save the date for 4 & 5 November 2020

This year's Advanced Engineering provided another great networking, technology and innovation showcase for manufacturers, suppliers and technology partners.

It was an extremely busy two days, with a 5% rise in visitor attendance reflecting the resilience and momentum behind the UK's advanced manufacturing sectors, even in the most challenging of climates.

The launch of our new Medical Device Engineering, and Enabling Innovation zones respectively, brought even more exciting opportunities:

“A great opportunity to network and get high quality business leads. The addition of the medical device engineering zone has helped us to forge new business relationships and showcase the range of potential applications that our products can help to innovate.”

Mike Duffield, Regional Sales Manager at Renishaw

'Great event where people will take time out of a busy schedule to visit and know it will be worth their time'

Niamh Russell, Project Administrator, 2KM (UK)

“It’s been a really good show; the quality of visitors has been excellent. For the first time ever, I have actually sold a machine straight off the stand for the value of £54k and by the end of today we would have sold another one – which is incredible.”

Sean O’Neill, Roaches International

“Assisted in helping me get a better understanding for the industry, color coded floor helped with navigation, better than other shows that I have been to!”

Dale Free, Sales Manager, Marshall AG

'This has been the best year yet for us exhibiting at the Advanced Engineering Show. We have recently invested in a new press which has increase our capacity by 50% so we can’t wait to get some new clients. We have lots of new leads which will come in handy for new business in the new year. We will certainly be back next year!'

Mark Crouchen, Rockwood Composite

'I like everything about the show, variety of stands, lots of conference areas & exhibitors. The conferences were really useful and situated evenly around the show.'

Ian Gardner, Industry 4.0 solutions Architect, IBM

'I found the event a great networking opportunity to meet industry professionals from different backgrounds with different products.'

"We are delighted at the huge numbers of visitors who came to see us. We had a very productive time catching up with familiar faces and meeting new businesses in the aerospace and defence sectors and it was great to showcase our services, especially NATEP and Aerospace Cornwall. We have come away from the show with some fantastic leads. We have been exhibiting at Advanced Engineering for several years now and we will continue to do so for many more.”

Colin Turner, the West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF)
