Alexander Hinterkopf, Managing Director, Hinterkopf GmbH
Reacting with speed and flexibility to changing market demands: an increasingly important ability for suppliers of metal and plastic packaging. Technical solutions which enable this agility are attracting more and more attention. A prime example for such a solution is the brand new digital printer D240.2, introduced by Hinterkopf at Aerosol & Dispensing Forum 2018 (ADF) in Paris.
The latest generation is based on the original D240, introduced in 2014 as the first fully digital printing machine for metal and plastic packaging. The newest member comes packed with even higher precision decoration of tubes, aerosol cans, bottles, cartridges and other cylindrical containers made from aluminum, steel or plastic. Compared to its predecessor, the new machine comes with further increased speed. New inks provide an even higher intensity – allowing for a lower ink consumption. An added benefit is the smaller footprint of the machine, which allows very easy integration in existing production lines.
We will be revealing the winners of this year’s awards directly at the show. Be there to see THE BEST OF THE BEST being recognized.
The Innovation Awards recognize outstanding achievements and encourage the industry to push the boundaries with technological and creative innovations in aerosol, dispensing, personal care and cosmetic packaging.
Winners will be announced at 3:00pm on September 18 in the PCD Conference Theater.
