Tamsec 2017

National Symposium on Technology and Methodology for Security and Crisis Management

November 28‐29, 2017, Kista, Sweden

First call for abstracts

The Symposium aims to give a comprehensive presentation of the Swedish research and

development activities in the security area. Through a number of ‘state of the art’

presentations from international experts and contributions from other Swedish and

international research groups and industry we also want to give a broad view on

international developments in the field. A second aim is to provide a national meeting place

for researchers, industry, end‐users and decision makers, all under the umbrella of the bi‐

annual Mötesplats Samhällssäkerhet at Kistamässan.

Research topics include, but are not limited to, the topics in focus for the strategic research areas (SFO), the national research and innovation agendas (NRIA 2011, FIA 2013), and the main topics of Mötesplats Samhällssäkerhet

Call for Abstracts

The TAMSEC 2017 programme committee welcomes your abstracts for scientific posters. The selection of contributions will be based on 1‐page abstracts, which will be printed in the proceedings.

There will be two mandatory poster sessions each day, providing an interactive forum for authors to discuss their work. To make the poster session attractive and interesting for the wider audience (government agencies, local authorities, business and NGOs) attending Mötesplats Samhällsäkerhet, the instruction for poster design is to present the research results from a popular science perspective.

Abstract submission will open in August.
