Now in its fourth year, Tank Storage Asia will take place from 11–12 December 2012 in Singapore, a central hub of the international petroleum trade.

Expansion in Asia is a continuing trend with many countries viewing the region as the newest growth hub. This positions the region to remain resilient throughout the global recession.

Singapore specifically has become a key territory in the international petroleum trade, registering almost US$300 billion worth of annual oil trade and more than 30 million metric tonnes of annual bunker fuel oil sales. Total storage capacity in the Singapore oil products hub stands at close to 10 million m³ and demand remains high.

Despite strong competition from neighbouring countries, Singapore is in a strong position to defend its reputation. It has earned its status over the years due to its robust infrastructure, effective processes and refining capabilities that have made the region synonymous with efficiency!
