Christian Rudin joined easyFairs as Managing Director, easyFairs Switzerland in 2007, bringing with him several years’ experience of trade show organisation. From 2001 to 2006 he was exhibitions manager with MCH Messe Schweiz in Basel, responsible for the project management of various technical trade fairs. In January 2006 he was appointed as the company’s Technology Exhibitions Manager, leading a team in charge of four events.

Before entering the trade fairs business, Rudin was project manager with the company Romag Management AG, where he had independent responsibility for projects in factory planning, internal materials flow and warehouse planning.

Rudin gained a degree in Mechanical Engineering after studying at the Technical University of Basel/Muttenz from 1996 to 1999. This followed four years of vocational training as an electromechanical engineer with Magnetic AG in Liestal.
