The New Irish Consumer

How has the Irish consumer has changed in recent times? We cannot ignore the fact that the economic downturn has had a profound effect and we will explore the impact of this on consumer behaviour from “inconspicuous consumption” and “benchmarking” to “network-thrifting” and the rise of private label.

In this new world, genuine insight and understanding motivations have become even more important in ensuring that brands remain relevant.  It’s no longer enough to tell people what you do well as a business and how you do it; it’s more critical now than ever before that you understand why consumers want to buy what you have to offer.
