Parking
The Piet Hein Car Park is located beneath the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam and belongs to Parkeergebouwen Amsterdam. This garage offers affordable event rates. For opening times, rates, accessibility and directions: bereikbaar.amsterdam.nl.
The Oosterdoks Parking is about ten minutes from the PTA by foot and is located next to Central Station. For opening times, rates, accessibility and directions: bereikbaar.amsterdam.nl.
A more affordable alternative is to park at P&R Zeeburg (Park & Ride). This is five to ten minutes away from the terminal by tram. P&R Zeeburg provides long-term parking including a tram ticket. For opening times, rates, accessibility and directions: bereikbaar.amsterdam.nl.
Itinerary
Passenger Terminal Amsterdam: A10 Ring Road, S114 Exit (Zeeburg, Centrum, Artis, IJburg). At the end of the exit lane, turn left. Continue straight along this road. Once in the Piet Hein Tunnel, stay in the lane marked Centraal Station. The entrance to the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is 1 km farther on the right-hand side.
By Car
From Utrecht/Amersfoort
Coming from Utrecht A2 and Amersfoort A1 please follow A10 in the direction of Zaandstad until exit S114, follow after this the same route as coming from the direction Den Haag/Schiphol
From Zaandam
Coming from Zaandam, please take the Zeeburgertunnel and exit at S114 (Zeeburg, Artis. Ijburg) and follow the directions as mentioned below.
From Schiphol, Amsterdam/ Den Haag
From Schiphol/Den Haag A4 you follow the ring A10. Leave the ring at exit S114 (Centre, Zeeburg, Artis, Ijburg) and take a left at the end of the exit. Follow this road and drive straight at the first and second traffic lights. You will drive into the Piet Heintunnel (on the signs you will see Central Station). At the end of this tunnel please take the right lane and go right at the traffic light in the direction of the Central Station. Follow this road, at the 4th traffic light you go right. You will find the Passenger Terminal straight ahead as is the entrance of the parking garage.
Public transport
By Taxi
If you are arriving by train, please exit at the Central Station. You will find a taxi at the entrance of the station at the centre of the city exit.
By Tram
From Amsterdam Central Station, take the Noord [North] exit. Once outside the station, turn right and follow the IJ River. Once over the bridge, the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam can be seen on the left-hand side. Approx. 15 minutes by foot. Tram 26 stops directly in front of the terminal. After exiting the tram, simply cross the road. Tram 25 stops directly next to the terminal.
By Train
From Amsterdam Central Station, take the Noord [North] exit. Once outside the station, turn right and follow the IJ River. Once over the bridge, the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam can be seen on the left-hand side. Approx. 15 minutes by foot.
Coming by foot is also possible. You walk through the Central Station in the direction of the IJ (back exit North). Outside the station go right and follow the bank. After the high bridge you will find at you left hand side the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam. It is an app. 15 minutes walk from the Central Station.
On www.9292ov.nl and/or www.GVB.nl you will find the schedules for the trains to Amsterdam Central Station and the metro.
Keep in mind that the public transport in Amsterdam requires an OV-Chipkaart. You can simply buy a return ticket at Amsterdam Central Station at the entrance of the metro. You can also order a ticket online at www.GVB.nl. Here you can also get more information about traveling with the OV-chipkaart.
