If the kitchen is the heart of the home, then IFEX is at the heart of the food, drink, foodservice and retail sectors in Northern Ireland. In addition to pioneering products and services, a complex mix of competitions and expert demonstrations bring the exhibition to life for visitors.

IFEX 2012 is shaping up to be a culinary feast that celebrates talent and innovation in the food and drink industries.

Chef Skills & Salon Culinaire

Recognizing and discovering some of the industry's most promising chefs,
Chef Skills is one of the best culinary competitions in Northern Ireland.
Come along and witness first-hand all the mixing, tossing and flambéing.
Plus, see who wins the frying pan shoot off to be crowned Chef of the Year and Junior Chef of the Year.

La Parade des Chefs: IFEX’s answer to Hell’s Kitchen

Salon Culinaire Director, Sean Owens, will once again be taking on the role of Hell’s Kitchen’s Marco Pierre White at La Parade des Chefs. One of the most important dates on the Northern Irish culinary calender, this event provides young chefs with an opportunity to cook and serve up to 50 invited guests every day in the new stand-alone, glass-fronted UK Skills Arena.
