Innovation Area

’The innovation area’’ is a new initiative in corporation with TOP BV and shows the most interesting technological innovations from past and upcoming years. Most innovations you see are not yet practically useable, however ‘’The Innovation area’’ shows a number of unique new technologies that are practically usable in large and small food companies.

PerfoTec, winner of the green tulip Accenture Award 2012, shows the packaging technology ‘Laser perforation in combination with breathing meter’. This new technology ensures that packed fruits and vegetables stay fresh for a longer period of time. CoolWave processing presents a mild conservation technology named ‘PurePulse’ for a longer tenability of fresh juices without losing their fresh taste. Also the innovative drying technology of LikeFresh is presented at the innovation area.

The Initiator of the Food Technology Park Brainport Helmond will show you how to practically apply these technologies. Some innovative product applications from TOP FoodLab will be presented and representatives from The Food Agency going to inform you about the most efficient ways to eventually market these technologies and applications.
