VERPACKUNG Schweiz 2012 was a record-breaking success!
The facts are impressive: VERPACKUNG Schweiz 2012 attracted 235 exhibitors (up 15 percent on 2011), 3798 visitors (up 30 percent). A massive 58 percent of exhibitors rebooked onsite. This was easyFairs Switzerland’s largest and most successful show to date.
More than 20 learnShops and guided tours of the exhibition floor attracted visitors to come early and stay late. Among the highlights was keynote speaker Andreas Steinle from the Zukunfts-Institute who talked about cross-innovation with a focus on how the Swiss packaging industry can learn from other sectors.
The University St. Gallen presented interactive workshops around the theme of solution-oriented strategies for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). These workshops were especially appreciated because they were open-ended, giving visitors to explore topics in depth.
