In just three editions, VERPACKUNG Austria has become Austria’s single most important trade show and business platform for packaging solutions – and it’s the only one of its kind in the country! After a successful start in Wels and its move in 2011 to Vienna, VERPACKUNG Austria has established itself firmly as an important meeting point for packaging professionals from the region’s productive industries.

Our move to Vienna was very successful. The number of visitors and exhibitors at the co-located shows VERPACKUNG and LOGISTIK Austria 2011 grew by nearly 25% – approximately 1,900 trade visitors came to meet some 140 exhibiting suppliers and find out about their newest products and solutions for packaging and logistics. Also of importance was the increase in international reach: 15% (2010: 9%) of all visitors came from neighbouring Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Our seminars and show features were constantly busy!

The fourth edition of VERPACKUNG Austria takes place on 13 & 14 June 2012, again in Vienna. If you want to present yourself to the packaging-consuming enterprises of Austria, this is your sales platform!

The metropolitan area of Vienna is not only the centre of Austrian foreign trade, it’s also most important transportation and distribution hub for the entire region. It’s where many wholesalers have traditionally located their Eastern European headquarters, and enterprises from these neighbouring countries count among the potential visitors to the show.
