Visitors to easyFairs© INTERIOR FIT OUT 2010 have an exclusive opportunity to tour the brand new Phase 2 extension to the capital’s foremost events facility.
Grimshaw's design for Phase 02 provides 32,500m2 of flat floor, column free exhibition space, with the potential to house a 5,000 seated convention venue, the largest facility of its kind in London. These Phase 02 developments take ExCeL London to a total capacity of 1,000,000 sq ft of flexible space, a 50% increase on its current capacity. This is complemented by a new 4,500 m2 bespoke facility, housing a breakout space and dedicated production kitchen, capable of catering for up to 10,000 guests at banquet.
The highly adaptable design also makes ExCeL the perfect choice for hosting a variety of events in 2012. ExCeL will be the venue for no less than seven Olympic and five Paralympic events, making it the second largest Olympic project currently on site.
