This is year SHOP 2010 is paying extra special attention to one of Ireland's favourite exports! That's right you've guessed it, or smelt it, it's CHEESE!

With the help of Kevin Sheridan and Sheridans Cheesemongers, this year's newly branded Irish Cheese Awards will showcase the diverse range of ONLY Irish cheeses.

At a time when the Irish economy is having such a difficult time this sector is a shinning light. The Irish cheese industry is making the best of our great natural resources, in terms of our world renowned quality milk and the craftsmanship of the producers. There will be over 50 entries in the awards which will be judged by the most renowned Irish chefs, food writers and retailers

Winners will be announced at 4.30pm on The Irish Cheese Awards stand and will be closely followed by an evening of entertainment and challenge at SHOP's first ever...

Cheese and Wine Tasting Challenge

We have invited a world famous wine specialist to SHOP this year, Robert Joseph. Robert will begin the evening with an exclusive offering of insights into wine retailing in Ireland – and will follow on with advice on how to train your taste buds to play cupid and match our Lusciously creamy, mouthwateringly flavorful and refreshing or rich cheese and wines.
