Approximately 20% of the 5,500 visitors to last year's packaging event PAKKAUS came from the food and soft drink industry.

So, starting 2011, RUOKATEOLLISUUS (Foodtec) will be a new part of the PAKKAUS show at the Helsinki Exhibition Center. This is where you'll meet all the main buyers and purchase decision makers from the region's key food producers.

Visitors in 2011 represented companies such as Vaasan & Vaasan, Panda, Hartwall, Arla, AstraZeneca, Olvi, Inex Partners Oy, Fazer, Coca-Cola, Kesko Food, Nokia, GE Healthcare, Lumene, Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, Orion, Premier, Neste Oil and Unilever.

Organising two shows side by side makes it easier for the food industry to update their knowledge of the newest manufacturing and packaging processes. More people from the same company can now justify visiting the event and will discuss a much wider range of their production processes -- and source out end-to-end solutions.
