Maintenance Professional Awards 2013
The MAINTEC 2013 Maintenance Person of the Year Awards are now open for entry. The brand new awards which are run in association with Engineering Maintenance Solutions, have been created to recognise and reward those who through the maintenance process have delivered real commercial benefits to their organisation. These benefits could be in the form of improvements in performance, such as greater output or reduced downtime, or financial gains such as energy savings.
There are two awards up for grabs: Maintenance Professional of the Year and Maintenance Apprentice of the Year.

•Improvements in measurement systems
•Contribution towards the bottom line of the company
"At a time when all businesses are managing their costs very tightly, the management of maintenance can be crucial in ensuring profitability. Maintenance professionals have been the unsung heroes within a business for too long and they should receive due reward for their contribution to the efficient running of plant and equipment. I am delighted to be involved in these awards and would encourage companies to put forward their recommendations for Maintenance Person of the Year and Maintenance Apprentice of the Year”.
Paul Sacker, Managing Director of Crimson Industrial Vision and member of the MAINTEC Awards judging panel.
