The Swedish car service market is currently undergoing structural changes and deregulation that open the way to interesting business opportunities!

In Sweden, car services and repairs (including tyres, glass and bodywork) have an annual turnover of around SEK 37 billion. The Stockholm region is by far the country’s biggest market for car workshops, with almost half of Sweden’s cars and more than 1200 workshops. There is thus a clear need for a meeting place for the car workshop industry.

After surveying around 100 car workshops and garages in Mälaren Valley (the extended capital region east of Stockholm) we have identified the current main issues and challenges affecting the sector. It is clear that the workshop owners want a regional forum where they can develop their skills in order to work more efficiently, to meet existing and future suppliers, see new products and do business.

FORDONSVERKSTAD (CAR WORKSHOP), which will be held at Kistamässan 2012, is no ordinary trade fair. It is a sales event and a meeting place for suppliers and buyers from the car workshop industry in the Stockholm region, where the majority of visitors do not attend other trade fairs. This is where visitors can find out about new products, increase their knowledge, meet with peers and, naturally, do business.

FORDONSVERKSTAD is simply a meeting place where suppliers have the opportunity to directly and cost-effectively present new products and create a dialogue with interested decision-makers in Sweden’s most important market for car workshops.
