Solids across Europe
Solids Rotterdam is part of the Solids European Series, which takes you to the heart of Europe's leading powder and bulk solids buyer markets. It provides an easy format at every show and online visibility 365 days a year via the easyFairs Product Directory.
Solids European Series trade shows take place at venues within easy reach of maritime or inland ports and other bulk cargo facilities. Altogether 900 exhibitors take part in our five editions at Antwerp, Basel, Dortmund, Kraków and Rotterdam, making Solids the premier European event in the sector. These trade shows attracts around 10,000 national and international visitors.
As such it is a great opportunity for the local solids community to network, share ideas and get updated on the latest trends and technologies – without having to travel long distances. Check out the opportunities to reach your customers across borders though the Solids European Series.
Industries that need to handle bulk goods plan imminent investments
Held only once every two years, Solids is a market-specific, compact, two-day event for solids professionals -- and it's the only trade show in the Netherlands that is specialised on bulk solids handling.
The visitors are serious buyers with concrete investment intentions. They visit Solids with a purpose: looking for specific solutions to real challenges or to meet new suppliers for future projects.
From the 'Big Solids Enquete' comes some good news. This is an ideal time to communicate to the market -- which is considering investing some €6 million in total -- why it is money well spent. This will result in short-term impacts on your bottom line, because 60% of the respondents said they will invest within the upcoming year.
Organised in the heart of one of Europe's most dynamic industrial regions, Rotterdam, Solids brings together a wide variety of specialist suppliers, providing its visitors a quick overview of the latest solutions for processing, transport and storage of powders, granules and bulk solids.
Solids is designed expressly to meet the needs of end users and is especially useful for solids professionals from the following industries: food and beverage, tobacco, mixed fodder, chemicals, metal, plastics and rubber, minerals, building materials, agriculture, fertilisers and pharmaceuticals.
These are the main focus areas of the show:
Sustainability Here the focus is on recycling, EU norms, preventing downtimes, optimising uptime, pro-active maintenance, abrasion and corrosion detection and life-cycle costing.
Dust control and explosion prevention Plus, work safety and accident prevention. Introduction to the IECEx system, safety/security in work procedures, installation requirements and training.
Production efficiency Optimisation of working processes and process equipment, prevention of production stoppages, process control, minimising changeover times and accelerating mixing processes.
Energy conservation Regenerating energy, alternative energy sources, raising efficiency, product loss/leakage, savings on machinery, personnel and services.
Co-located with Pumps & Valves
Pumps & Valves -- the Dutch trade show for technology & innovations in industrial pumps, valves, seals, filters and processing equipment -- will takes place at the same time in Ahoy Rotterdam. Together, these two shows offer a complete overview of solutions within the process industry.
This year Pumps & Valves is situated in the same hall as Solids, which means you benefit directly from this audience as well. Both shows uphold their own identities, as each has its own marketing campaign and partners.
“Based on our good experiences we have now decided to exhibit at the entire Solids European Series. We really appreciate the show concept because it targets the right group of prospects and the organisation is easy on our time. Last year we made a significant number of new contacts. Participating at Solids events means new leads, brand awareness and the perfect opportunity to meet new clients. Our company specialises in protection against dust explosion and fire hazards so we want to reach all companies who are interested in bulk materials and systems across Europe.”
