Getting there
Basel, located in Switzerland at the heart of Europe, is a congress city with conveniently situated facilities. Basel Exhibition enjoys a downtown location, travel times are short, and the historic old town, the shopping areas and the many museums and parks can be reached comfortably on foot or in a few minutes by public transport.
Public transport
If you take tram no. 1 or 2, you can reach Basel Exhibition from the Swiss or French (SBB/SNCF) railway station in 10 minutes or from the German (DB) station (Badischer Bahnhof) in 5 minutes by tram no. 2 or 6.
Rail travel
Basel is an international rail hub: direct ICE, IC and EC daytime and nighttime connections from Germany, Austria, Italy France and the Benelux countries.
All three of Basel’s railway stations – SBB (Switzerland), SNCF (France) and DB (Badischer Bahnhof, Germany) – are within 5-10 minutes of Basel Exhibition.
