MOL Logistics (Netherlands) BV takes a large step forward with air freight!

MOL Logistics (Netherlands) BV has taken a large step forward with the air freight department. The Schiphol - Amsterdam office is relocated to the building of Menzies World Cargo (Nederland) BV as from the 11th of December 2010. With the cooperation and the relocation MOL Logistics (Netherlands) BV is going to realize a higher service level towards you in the future.

The main difference between the current and the new situation is the location and status of the warehouse, namely a frontline handling warehouse at the platform versus the current consolidator warehouse outside of the platform. This results in the following advantages:

 Eliminate additional transport between frontline-based handling warehouse to Cargo Agent warehouse
 Reduce lead times for both export and import
 Possibility of handling charters and ULD’s
 Availability of goods until the moment of loading and from the moment of unloading
 Reduce additional customs documents in connection with the document-free flow of goods via the platform
 Operational handling of import and export 24/7
 Reduce the number of handling activities for import and export of goods, this results in less chances for damages during handling

This move creates a positive effect within air freight handling in The Netherlands compared to the rest of Europe. MOL Logistics (Netherlands) BV is the first agent that is working in-house with a handling company with all its’ advantages!
