J-Tec designs, supplies, installs and maintains systems for the handling of powders, pellets, and liquids. The company was founded in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1970. We supply individual components, adapt and/or automate existing installations and build complete turn-key installations. Our philosophy is based on offering solutions that are individually adapted to the customer’s wishes. We are mainly active in the food, pharmaceutical, (petro)chemicals and plastics industries. As a total solutions supplier we are able to offer a wide range of processes and systems: pneumatic conveying systems, automation, dedusting, weighing and dosing, mixing, sieving, storage, etc. When designing your installation we take into account explosion safety, hygienic design, etc. Our service department supplies spare parts and takes care of the maintenance and repairs of you installations. In our test facilities you can have your product tested. That way you gain an insight into the product characteristics and what is the best way to handle it. That way you can be assured that, even with difficult products, you installation will function as planned.

Sieving is becoming more and more important in process installations. Continuous quality control during the process flow requires extra control points. Sieving can be required for several reasons:

To eliminate impurities at the intake of your bulk materials
To guarantee the end quality of your finished product
(HACCP and EHEDG)

Raw materials can be delivered in different ways: in bags, big bags, bulk truck, containers or octabins.
J-TEC has the necessary equipment and expertise to handle all of these.

Various unloading aids may be used, such as vibrating bottoms, fluidization or special discharge cones.

Sometimes the materials may be intended for immediate use, but on other occasions they may have to be stored in bulk until called for production. In this case they may be stored in silos or other intermediate facility, provided with any special equipment required such as insulation, heating or cooling.

Once called for production, the materials are transported to the place of handling in the appropriate manner.
