double flap systems

For discharging and dosing of bulk goods from silos or supply hoppers.

Can be used in dust explosion-endangered systems by means of inlet/outlet-mounted shut-off valves with flameproof and pressure shock-proof design, and DMT certificate.
Can be used as safety unit for dust-explosion proof decoupling, even for highly abrasive media, by means of inlet/outlet mounted shut-off valves with pneumatically actuated sealing elements APS ®.
Logical sequence control ensures that only one shut-off valve is open while the other shut-off valve is gas-tight closed.

protection systems

WAREX protection system

WAREX protection systems are used for blocking, throttling and regulation of gases, fluids, dusts and hybrid mixtures in pipe systems.

They consist of two pressure shock-proof and flameproof shut-off valves in the GS series, a corresponding intermediate container and a prototype-tested electric or pneumatic control system which ensures that one valve is always closed. The control system ensures that the protection function is maintained even if the power supply fails.

They are designed so that they limit the effects of explosions to a safe level and provide pressure and flame decoupling in the product path in the case of an explosion. The explosion effects cannot penetrate to the exterior and are restricted to the product path.

The mounted pneumatic rotary drives must be double-acting in design and the solenoid valves must be designed with spring-return and closed without current.

In general, the category of the device used must comply with the zone separation of the environment in question.

If intended for operation as a protection system, the respective operating instructions of the control systems must be complied with.

ball valves for powder handling

Ball valves are shut-off devices that are switched through 90° by means of a hand-operated lever or a drive to the positions OPEN and CLOSED; ball valves are not suitable for intermediate positions or regulation.

Application areas are piping systems for the processing, treatment and transport of liquid and gaseous fluids in the petrochemical industry.

This type series is not suitable for solid materials.

The installation of ball valves in pipes is, depending on the type, by means of screwed connections, flanges or welding. The ball valve construction takes into account normal stresses in operation within the pipes; additional forces on the pipe connections must be avoided.

The actuation elements of the ball valves are matched to the permissible forces of the shaft and ball. Changes to these elements can lead to damage.

Ball valves without an ISO flange are not suitable for the attachment of drives.

pinch valves

Under the pressure of a fluid ( air, water ) injected into the valve body, the sleeve is compressed closing completely. As soon as the pressure of the control fluid stops, the sleeve opens completely.

rotary valves

The rotary valve was developed and produced by us to resolve the problem of remotely controlled, production appropriate dosing. The rotary valve is particularly well suited for charging fine dosing systems and sieves with the corresponding bulk goods and granulates on a continuous basis without bridging.

The rotary valve is available either with an 180° pneumatic rotary drive or with a rotating version and geared motor.

The special feature here is the gas-tight sealing of the respective end positions with our APS-System® (Air Pressure Sealing), i.e. the sealing collar is pneumatically pressed onto the valve disc.
This also minimises wear.

The sealing collars are also available conform to FDA with almost all elastomers so that application problems in the food or pharmaceutical sector can be resolved.
