Our comprehensive range of forked links covers more than 190 types of chain link, all of which are manufactured in our
own drop forge Branscheid Umformechnik GmbH & Co. KG. You will recognise Branscheid forked links by their forged
“BUT/B” mark and the arrow showing the direction of transport.

Products

Single- and Double-strand forked link chains

Our drop forged conveyor chains are manufactured on requests and they are exactly adapted to the bulk which need to be conveyed.
The range of the available forged steel grades reaches from case-hardening steel to heat treatable steel up to corrosion- and acid-resistant or high-temperature-resistant stainless steel grades.

Apron Feeder Components

Apron feeders are manufactured in various designs for application in dry or wet areas

Chain wheels, Toothed Segments and Return Idlers

Our standard chain wheels are manufacured from C45 material and the toothed profiles can either be flame or inductive hardened. For high wear resistant requirements, tooth segments can be manufactured from the entire range of various steels available on the market. For example, the following materials could be used, 42CrMo4 and 16MnCr5 inductive hardened, or 14NiCr14 and 17CrNiMo6, case hardened.
Also the sprocket sets made by BRANSCHEID are not only flame cut but each tooth is accurately CNC-milled to maximize the lifetime of the chain wheel.

We are well known for the use of only high quality raw materials and precision forging.
In addition we guarantee the following:
• the bores are parallel, burr-free and have an exact pitch,
• plane-parallel milled radii at the fork head,
• the gap in the fork is consistent, having the same width, with the tines being smooth and parallel and of the same thickness. This makes the link completely symmetrical. All machined edges are chamfered.
