Mission Foods is part of the Gruma Corporation which was founded in 1949 in Mexico. Gruma is the world leader in the production, marketing, distribution and sale of tortillas, corn flour and wheat flour.
Through its subsidiary Mission Foods, Gruma serves industrial, retail and foodservice customers across the globe and in Europe. With factories in the UK, the Netherlands and in Italy, Mission Foods offers a wide range of ambient or frozen flatbreads like wraps, tortillas, naans, pitas, etc. and manufactures tortilla chips as well.
In 2010 Mission Foods acquired the Tex Mex brand “ Mexican Gold” which is now sold internationally in both retail and foodservice channels.
