At Print & Publishing, Roland DG presents its newest printers and integrated printers/cutters. First of all, the VersaSTUDIO BN-20 is presented. This is the world’s first desktop printer with cutting feature that can be used with metallic ink. The device is 51cm wide and can be operated both by experienced professionals and by those just getting started in the digital printing business.
Furthermore, the VersaCAMM VS is shown. The VS series is available in four widths: the VS-640 is 163cm wide, the VS-540 is 137cm wide, the VS-420 is 107cm wide and the 76cm wide VS-300 is the smallest member of the family. The VS combines printing with cutting and can be used with white and metallic ink (CMYKLcLm + W + Mt).

Roland DG also demonstrates the VersaUV LEJ-640 and LEF-12. The LEJ-640 is a 163cm wide UV printer that prints CMYK, white and transparent ink on various rolls and rigid materials up to 13mm thick. The LEJ-640 prints signs, displays, window decoration and packaging prototypes etc.

The LEF-12 is a desktop UV printer. The device prints on all sorts of objects up to 10cm high, including stationery, electronic gadgets and promotional material.

VersaUV LEJ-640

The VersaUV LEJ-640 is a 163 cm-wide UV printer that can print on rigid materials and on rolls. Maximum material thickness is 1.3 cm. The built-in LED lamps dry the ink. No heat is released in the process, so you can even print on heat-sensitive materials. The standard LEJ-640 is delivered with a table unit that is easy to remove.

Use the LEJ-640 for your packaging prototypes, displays, billboards and other signs. The ink is instantly dry, so you can finish the prints direct.

VersaUV LEF-12

Use the VersaUV LEF-12 to print text, photos, logos or other designs direct on to objects up to 10 cm thick. Examples of objects include gadgets, giftware and prototypes. The LEF-12 is a desktop UV printer that uses CMYK, white and transparent ink. Use the transparent ink for a gloss or matt finish or to create textures. The built-in LED lamps dry the ink.

VersaSTUDIO BN-20

Introducing the VersaSTUDIO BN-20. This desktop machine combines printing with cutting, both to an extremely high quality. The BN-20 can be used for creating magnificent stickers, posters and heat transfers, for example.

The BN-can also be used with metallic silver ink. By combining this ink with standard colours, you can create more than 500 sparkling metallic colours. The results are really amazing!
