Inspiration Area
Besides all learnShops we present the Inspiration Area.
Here various parties organise important activities that you can not miss when visiting MOCON. This is where you will find practical application ideas, share experiences and inspiration.
Stichting The Art of Robotics (STAR)
‘’Different perspectives on technique”
Over the next 20 years robot technology developing will as rapidly develop as the computer has done the past 20 years. This will be a major influence on the design of our production. The application of robots is not just another phase in the automation. The interplay between man and technology and thus the establishment of manufacturing will change significantly.
At the Inspiration Area, you can experience what these new approaches in the future could mean for production by using audio and video. Free learnShop will take place current issues and inspiring movies. In addition, students will experience several demos of robotic applications. It's a place where current and new techniques and insights from students and businesses, young and old and everything in between, can meet.
Demonstrations Avans Hogeschool Den Bosch
The youth has (also) the future! Students at Avans give demonstrations of their school projects in the field of Industrial Automation. Be amazed by the Mini Posi Sorter.
The Pneu / tec Spider
This spider is made by Bart Steenhuis, Yoran Donne en David Bult, students of the ROC Leiden. This spider can walk, move en expand thanks to the pneumatic drive of Pneutec. De movable jaws, shell and glowing eyes in the wooden head of this pneumatic en process driven mechanicle robotspider are impressive. The students of the ROC control the spider and will tell you about the process of building and technical facts.
Industrial drives & solutions
NORD shows you the newest industrial drives. Solutions for issues that are needed by industrial applications. Read more about the drives on the Inspiration Area.....
The helicopter demo B & R Industrial Automation B.V.
The helicopter demo was developed at the Technical University ETH Zurich and shows the possibilities of advanced control in the B & R system. Using two actuators (main rotor and tail rotor), the helicopter is positioned and stabilized. In addition, both angles (horizontal and vertical) by the user are imported into the visualization. Visit the Inspiration Area and see which techniques are more applicable.
Safety and SCADA demo SigmaControl
In order to explain how a security configuration tool can be integrated has SigmaControl SIGMATEK and her partner a table-top presentation developed. With the help of engineering software called "designer safety", various safety features are added.
BMW, Audi, Festo all make use of the SCADA package zenon, which complete production lines can be automated. How this package in the Netherlands by various companies is deployed SigmaControl can explain this on the inspiration area.
Walking robots
Edwin Dertien designed an walking robot that fits digital manifacturing. The little and simply to build robot is suitable for training and science. A result that will surprise you with approachable techniques.
