MEDICA EXPO 2013 in Stockholm is over for this time. Many thanks to the exhibitors for your dedication and high-quality products that were demonstrated in interesting booths. Also, thanks to all of you who visited the fair. Together both parties made the fair to an important forum for the medical industry. During two days you could experience fantastic speakers, a variety of interesting exhibitors, fascinating innovations and many opportunities of doing business.
Some of the highlights at MEDICA Expo was the speech of the Swedish Social Minister Göran Hägglund, that attracted a large audience but also "Framtidsplazan" (Future square) and "Innovationsgatan" (Innovation street), where news and inventions thronged together with curious visitors.
At the fair, you could find a 3D scanner that produced advanced 3D figures in plastic and gypster in a few seconds and the robot Giraffe, that could provide virtual care and contact between elders in their home and their nurses and relatives, located at another place.
The number of visitors during Tuesday was 822 and 539 on Wednesday, a total of 1361 visitors, an increase from previous year. For those of you who have not had enough, you can visit the Finnish equivalent fair named TERVEYSTEKNOLOGIA 2014 in Helsinki on 8-10th of December, respectively MEDICA EXPO 2014 in Stockholm on 14-15th of May.
