SWC was founded in 1994 after FAG Schweinfurt decided to outsource the High-temperature Bearing Section.
The long experience of the company founder in the field of high-temp bearings
and bearings filled with special grease became a trademark of the company.
Since 2000, high-temp deep groove ball bearings and an extensive range of other products are manufactured in the company's production facility and warehouse in Niederwerrn, Germany.
SWC offers affordable bearing solutions, which guarantee long operating lifetime at high temperatures and low speeds. Additionally our bearings ensure reduced maintenance costs.
For normal bearings perfect running performance is only guaranteed up to a maximum of 120°C depending on the used grease. SWC high temp deep groove ball bearings allow temperatures up to 350°C.
SWC offers a wide range of single row deep groove ball bearings.
All bearings are supplied with riveted sheet steel cage and radial clearance CN, C3 or C4 as standard.
Additionally all SWC deep groove ball bearings come with a heat treatment up to a temperature of 200°C.
SWC offers a wide range of housing units.
These units consist of a radial insert ball bearing and either Plummer block housing (UCP), Two-bolt flanged housing (UCFL) or Four-hole flanged housing (UCF).
All radial insert ball bearings are delivered with radial clearance C3, a riveted sheet steel cage, two steel shields (2ZR) and heat treatment for temperatures up to 200°C as standard. In addition, all bearings are equipped with a basic corrosion protection through their manganese phosphate coating.
SWC spherical roller bearings are available open with cylindrical bore (radial clearance CN or C3) or tapered bore (radial clearance C3) as well as sealed version with cylindrical bore (radial clearance CN) and two Viton seals (2VSR).
All spherical roller bearings are delivered with a sheet steel cage and heat treatment for temperatures up to 200°C as standard. Furthermore, SWC offers open and sealed Spherical Roller Bearings for Temperatures up to 250°C.
SWC integral tapered roller bearings are sealed at one side, self-retaining and greased for life. They are mounted in pairs so that a bearing unit sealed at both sides is obtained.
Due to the large spread the bearing unit accommodates all load combinations from radial loads, axial loads and tilting moments.
