Whether it is a pump, fan, compressor, conveyor, mixer or other equipment, Artesis MCM is a simple to install and simple to use solution that gives continuous on-line information on the state of the equipment, without the need to fit sensors on the plant itself. Using the motor as a transducer, the Artesis system identifies pre-existing and developing faults simply by measurement and automated analysis of the current and voltage drawn by the motor. It provides alerts when conditions deteriorate to the extent that maintenance is required, allowing simple adoption of CBM strategies. It provides diagnosis of the nature of the problem observed, guidance on the corrective action required and the urgency of that action, allowing you to match your valuable maintenance resources to the right jobs. Auto alerts can be set up to send emails or text messages to the relevant people when these faults occur, speeding up your organisation's responsiveness.
The unit is also a continuous energy monitor, indicating not only the total power consumed, but also providing information on phase angle and harmonic distortion, which both increase your electricity bill. In addition, Artesis MCM units identify factors such as imbalance and misalignment which can cause significant waste of power. So not only do you get a measure of how much power you are using, you get an indication of what you should do to reduce wastage, and hence drive down your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint.

Artesis also supplies the Artesis PCM unit for use on electric generators, providing similar fault diagnosis functionality to the MCM.
