2009 EXHIBITOR TESTIMONIALS
TEGO, manufacturers of an innovative ceiling system that affords novel merchandise, signage, and light attachment opportunities, used easyFairs INTERIOR FIT-OUT to raise awareness outside its Sweden headquarters.
Chief Executive Officer Mats Flygare, said: “The show has provided a platform to launch out product range in the UK and gauge reaction from leading UK interiors professionals. We’re very pleased with the response. The show has introduced us to retail businesses and architects; we’ve had many positive conversations.”
Kim Ponting from retail shop-fit specialists SMC Projects, said: “It’s the first show we’ve ever exhibited at, but we were kept well informed and guided throughout the build-up to the event. easyFairs’ low-fuss format meant we didn’t need to dedicate a huge amount of time preparing and organising our stand, which is important for smaller exhibitors with limited staff resources.”
Peter Richards, Managing Director of John Richards Shopfitters, said the show unearthed exciting new business contract opportunities. “One notable visitor was representing a European retailer, one with 150 shops in Spain, which was due to launch a store in the UK. They specifically came to the event to build partnerships with UK shopfitters.”
Cathi Malvaroza from designer storage system providers Templestock, said: “There was an impressive flow of commercial interior designers across both days, with many enquiries from people involved in projects that are on-going, and not just those looking to expand their contacts book for future work as and when it emerges. That was very encouraging.”
Francisco Serrano, Managing Director of Vitrafol, said: “The show has attracted an interesting mix of decision makers and specifiers. It is clearly aimed at those who want to do business: there are not the frills of other shows, so very little to attract people without a genuine interest in sourcing new business partners.”
